40 is the floor.
50 is the ceiling.
Main-deck size counts non-Legends only. Constructed requires three differently named Legends and 40–50 main cards. Sum the Legends’ RAM by color: three colors are legal when every card meets its own color budget. These experiments use 40, 41 or 42 main cards.
Regular constructed has exactly seven sideboard cards, with a maximum of three copies of one identity across main and side. Preserve the registered main count after boarding. Quick LGS best-of-one omits the sideboard.

Keep a control list, alternate who goes first, and record the opening six, mulligan, sold-versus-played choices and whether the new slot solved the observed problem. These designs carry no win-rate or “best deck” claim.
